Flowerhorn Cichlid Care Tips:

Tank Size: The Flowerhorn Cichlids need a 20 to 30 gallon tank, for the smaller ones and around 120 gallon tank for the foot long Flowerhorn.
Tank Setup: The Flowerhorns need lot of swimming space in the tank so avoid too much decorations and also avoid the decorations that could harm the Flowerhorns.
Water Temperature: The suitable temperature for Flowerhorn Cichlids is between 80 to 85 F (27 to 29 C)
Water Filtration: Flowerhorn Cichlids need a high-quality filtration system in their tanks.
Water pH Level: The suitable pH for Flowerhorn Cichlids is between 7.4 to 8.0.
Food: The Flowerhorn Cichlids love fleshy and live bloodworms, mealworms, small fish, earthworms, minced meat and shrimp. They can also be fed vegetables like spinach, peas and lettuce.
Number of Fish: It is advisable to have only one Flowerhorn in the tank.
Tankmates: The Flowerhorns will eat smaller fish that fits their mouth and injure the ones of similar size.
