The Hawaii Section of the American Water Works Association (AWWA) maintains a website at www.awwa-hi.org. The primary purpose of the website is to convey important and noteworthy information to the membership regarding the general activities of: 1) the Association, 2) Board of Trustees and Committees, and 3) organizations and issues that impact the purpose and goals of the Association.

The Association is currently seeking advertising on the website homepage. The Association welcomes and solicits advertising on the website because it is beneficial to both the Association and advertisers. For the Association, it helps defray a significant portion of costs to maintain the website. For advertisers, it provides a direct message to a population of over 600 members state-wide that are in need of the products or services being advertised. Make sure that visitors to the AWWA Hawaii website are aware of your organization and the services, equipment, and/or materials you have to offer.

Please be aware that advertising on the AWWA Hawaii Section website homepage is available only to businesses related to the drinking water field. Please also note that all advertisements will be subject to review and approval by the AWWA Hawaii Section Board of Trustees for both ad content and ad color selection. The space available on the website is currently limited to ten (10) banners on the homepage, and will be assigned in the order of receipt of payment. All advertising must be image files (no macromedia flash-type files, please) conforming to the following specifications:

Please keep in mind that the specified banner size will be strictly enforced. In addition, if you are submitting a flash/shockwave-type animated banner, you must embed your website link into your banner file, as AWWA Hawaii does not provide ad banner editing services. Any banner deviating from the criteria will be returned to the advertiser for editing to the correct size before posting. In addition, please be aware that the Association does not provide statistics for advertisement banners indicating the number of visitors being redirected from the AWWA Hawaii Section website to the advertiser’s site.
