This is how you properly clean a STA-RITE System 3 Cartridge filter. I show you how to take it apart, clean it and put it back together. It’s easy once you do it for the first time.
This is a great filter and if you have one of these it will last you a long time. I have several of these on my route and they are made to last. The lid weighs a ton and you can see that if the plastic were to crack it would take a natural disaster to do it.
The cartridges are pretty darn heavy and if you can clean it like in this video you will have a better time of it. When you go to replace your cartridges you might want to try the new System 3 Retrofit Kit. This will transform your filter from the large and semi-large cartridges to three medium size ones.
